The Mercer Universal Prosthetic (MUP)

Designed for access.
Built for movement.

In order to overcome the barriers of cost and accessibility, the Mercer Universal Prosthesis (MUP) is based on the concept of a neutral alignment, which provides a practical and scalable solution for prosthetic care in underserved regions.

Since the program began, new innovations in the design has allowed more complex patients to be fit, including pediatric patients and those with significant comorbidities.

Personalized in practice.

Its adjustable socket system allows for precise modifications during fitting, enabling clinicians to achieve a comfortable and functional fit without the need for complex fabrication.

This flexibility allows teams to care for a wider range of patients—including pediatric cases and those with more complex clinical presentations—while maintaining efficiency in resource-limited settings.
